I just encountered a problem in Nighon. I flew up to the magic shop and I heard a little ring sound and the game froze. It has happened twice now.

Hmm, I've been using that magic shop with no problems at all. Maybe another case of different operating systems having different glitches?

I sent the save file to bungleau and maestro. bungleau's crashed too. It seems to be something with the enemies near there. No word from maestro yet.

Hm...Yes it crushes. But I'm not sure why.
Try this:
copy original Sounds.SND into sound folder (make a copy of them).
If it will help - problem is with spell sound - it can be fixed.

If it won't help - problem is with monsters - Warlocks...

Let me know =)
I'll check some stuff

Problem of Nighon was in summons. So I've deleted them. Probably game not allow to have such summons outdoors (indoors they worked correctly)

Ok, thanks,
bungleau suggested it might be something like that as well.

So, will this be fixed in patch?

Damn. Game crashed in the kennel, just like Variol's did in Nighon. gonna have to try the sound file... tomorrow, though. I'm tired tonight.

Sneaky place, that Kennel....

Still crashing in the Kennel. Putting the original sound file in there delayed it for a bit, but not long enough.

Perhaps we ought to be higher than level 7 so we can kill 'em quicker... ;)

It's where Queen Catherine asked you to go at some point. It's on the east side of the southern part of the river on the Erathia map.

In the original game, it was the Ninja promotion quest on the dark path. To spoil slightly, it's loaded with invisible manticores... I think, since I can't see 'em :D

Hmm. I had no troubles with it =\
Manticores are unique monsters for the game!

They can occure problems, sometimes when you clic on them, sometimes you try to ID them.

I cannot fix it - it is MM7 problem. I doubt even if BDJ can find problems in the code.

The solution:
Try not to clic on them with your mouse.
Try to switch game mode (from blended to accelerated). In simple mode (without blending) - manticores are visible. And I can clic on them whenever I want. Maybe I've got official game with latest 3DO patches for them (v 1.2).

I'm not sure about them.

Well, I can't see them, so I can't click on them and can't try to ID them :)

I've been auto-attacking with bows and spells. As uninteractive as you can imagine...

I'll try changing the settings tonight to see what happens.

I've never encountered any problems with the creatures in The Kennel. Try the game settings that Vladimir suggests.

Those game settings worked. Kennel is cleared.

All I can say... man, do I like Berzerk and Paralyze... :D

*edit* Crash, crash, and more crash... completed the priest of light quest, and after getting the promo, trying to access the inventory screen results in an internal error. I've got a pretty bastardized environment right now, with 4 or 5 MM7 installs, so I may just clean it all up and start 'em over.
