Starcraft 2!
At least for the beta I remember that here were also planned zerg-human hybrids like another war party.

They said there will only be 3 races... which is just groovy imo.
Of course we might get something like the Burning Legion was in WC3.

I thought that was selfexplanatory! Like the hybrids aren't gonna be the main enemy just like the Burning Legion was in WarCraft III.ThunderTitan wrote:They said there will only be 3 races... which is just groovy imo.

Duran.... Now he was cool. And he and Zeratul talked in that bonus scenario....now that was cool....

I wonder if the 'heroes', such as Raynor, Kerrigan, Zeratul,... will get to have special abilities and levels just like those in WC3? Seems like a logical step to me, but maybe not?
EDIT: Having read that GS article, the answer looks to be NO.

I agree with you on needing a few more years to complete the Starcraft Campaigns. But I'm even more on the extreme. Just started playing Starcraft for the first time and got partially into the second campaign, Zerg. Owned the game for at least 3 years. Same with Warcraft 3, haven't gotten around to playing it. I'm assuming, since it's newer and has more roleplaying elements, I'll like it more then Starcraft. Besides the fact that I love a good science fiction story and Starcraft really sparks the imagination.
As far as the gameplay. I played Warcraft 2 5 years after it was made, almost completed the expansion even. The only other RTS I'd played was Command and Conquer (original). By that time I was so sick of RTS I haven't really played one since besides a quick skirmish with Battlecry 2. I seem to find other types of games have more variety are are more rewarding. I still love RTS for occasional gameplay. I like the turnbased Heroes much more, and other TBS.

I am looking forward to the release, and it gives me five years to finally finish and complete the Brood War SP campaign.
Pls, WC3's story was so an adaptation of SC's. First they kill the big bad that controls the faction that the fallen character belongs to, then they have the fallen character end up the winner. It's just that Kerrigan >>>>>>>> Arthas.

And that thing alone makes FT, BW adaptation ?ThunderTitan wrote:Ywah, FT = BW. They both end with the fallen character on top.
And by the way Arthas is not on the top. Ner'zhul was fooling him from the very outset. And he is much more superior.
So, that what is left from Arthas' consciousness is probably feeble against new Arthas body owner.

Conjecture... until they add him to WoW we don't really know who owns the body.MistWeaver wrote: And by the way Arthas is not on the top. Ner'zhul was fooling him from the very outset. And he is much more superior.

Anyway, it's the same thing, with a wimpier character.

Hope is the last to die, as always... but yours is in vain, they already gave some details about how Arthas will be if ever added (most powerful boss ever), which kinda makes it a given, unless WoW fails until then (which would take an act of God).MistWeaver wrote: I hope they won't.
