Ive just reinstaled HIII.It seems that I failed the directX test.Oh well,it seems Ill have to reinstal directX 7 so good buy modern games :devil:

Probably because the check doesn't recognize newer versions of direct X- whether it's 3do's or Microsoft's fault is another thing.

That's normal for the later versions of DirectX. Try installing anyway. It should work fine.

The point was that the game works anyway. It's just that the old test doesn't know the new dX, so it says that it failed, but the game works fine.

Since this is the random banter thread, I just thought it'd be useful to tell everybody how pleasant it is to calculate Riemann sums and eat nut and apple cake after each correct result. Because that's what I'm doing now.

Nut and apple cake is a new recipe my mother learned and as always it turned out marvellous.

As for the sums, that's the latest thing I've learned in the Analysis course. It's all a lot of talk and formulas, but very simple really.

By the way, does anyone happen to know the value of:
