Heroes III+IV Complete released

Unread postby Paulus1 » 25 Sep 2006, 21:34

Seems Ubi is trying to squeeze the last out of the oldies.

I was in a game shop today, and to my surprise saw this package, that includes III + IV including all expansions.

This is how the cover looks like:

It is for sale here in Denmark for 98 DKK, which is about 15 Euro.

That's good price, but noone like that here. And when it was, it surely will be completely translated, bah, how I hate these translations...

But here it will probably do not appear, why it should? The translated ones are already on market, separated, however HommIII Complete for 9 Euro and HommIV. Complete for 6 Euro, so at the end it's the same price :D

The seperate ones have been on the market here for some time as well, each selling for about the same price as the new one.

But out of those 3, you really dislike at least one - and one other is really, really old - and not that much fun to play these days.

Maybe Ubi has something against the North American market ;|
you can always e-mail their customer support... otherwise I have no clue. I didn't know that they were releasing it here either, before I saw it yesterday.

It's available from Amazon.de, but not in the Amazon US and UK stores.

Yeah, but i never played it before, so
And H5 is starting to grow on me... kinda like a fungus, you don't really like it and it smells bad, but as long as you have it, why not play with it.

I think UbiSoft is playing the "payback" head game. Remember when 3do didn't release certain games and/or versions in Europe? UbiSoft is trying to get back at America by cutting off their own nose … it's their loss, if they don't want our money … oh well. Shows just how stupid the marketing department at UbiSoft is!
