So I think the whole price is ludicrous
If you think that's ludicrous, you would have a heart attack if you heard the money I pay for books and college. We have 100% legal thugs here in America...

By the way, 300 bucks isn't too high, especially if you are taking technical courses; as, for some reason, the average engineering book costs twice as much as the average arts and sciences book; and I think it is either insulting to A&S, or insulting to engineering students that are being blatantly ripped off.

P.S: Stefan buys pools and not plane tickets, but booze with his money to party with girls all the time, right Stefan?

This semester my book fees alone were about $286. And it gets worse: two of my classes have NO TEXT REQUIREMENT. So almost $300 for three classes’ worth of books. >_<

Odd. I'm studying engineering science, and I've been told that we pretty much have the cheapest course litterature. I pay about 500€ a year, buying my books new. You can also generally get away without buying the bokos, though in a very few courses you get to use them on the exam.

I think that its medicine that takes the strongest punch, because even if learning books costed the same as normal books, these would be the most expensive just due to their size. Those are huge :nervous:
