Where do I place the saves a friend copied for me from another computer, at which directory? Their names are save_15.sav but I can't even find my own saves in the dir structure where heroes are installed.

The saved games directory is here:

C:\Documents and Settings\[your name here]\My Documents\My Games\Heroes of Might and Magic V\Profiles\[your name here]\Saves

Thanks alot.

--------

Sorry to bother you, I placed the saves there, but I can't load them from anywhere within the game (they are not listed). I know that they are saves from an internet game, but i guess that isn't an obstacel to load it in hotseat? I tried also renaming the files to a lower number, and I saw in their properties that they were blocked (originating from another pc) and I turned that off as well, still nothing.

Hmm, I'm not sure about Internet saves being loaded as hotseat... ;|

Speaking of saved games, I've reloaded H5 on my computer, and my campaign saved game files are nowhere to be found ingame. I did make sure they were in my game director under My Documents/My Games/ect...

They just don't appear. I don't really care to replay the first 4 campaigns just to get to the Sylvan maps again, so could someone help me out with a save file that has access to the Sylvan campaign? Thanks in advance!

When moving the files between computers is everything you need to move in that one profile folder or are there other files that need to be moved as well. Also my computer crashed after I had finished the necromancer campaign and I lost all of my savegame files. I have no intention of restarting, so if someone will volunteer the save files either at the end of the necromancer campaign of the start of the dungeon campaign (I had finished the Clandlord, but am willing to redo that one) it would be a nice christmas present. I did receive HOF for Chrismtas and will just start there if no one has the files to give. I will PM my email address to you. Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas to everyone and a Happy New Year to all.

You do not need any save games (save*.sav files) to continue your campaigns. You just need to copy the old Campaign.sav file to the \My Documents\My Games\Heroes of Might and Magic V\Profiles\[Profile name]\Saves\ folder.
