Add A to the beginning (standing for "A" the indefinte article) and it'll be even more easy to read.

So the full name would be

A Not So Pleasant Equestrian Horse-Like Dream Thingy That's On Fire

Great! Someone tell Fabrice! :)

pfft... i balk at your silly grammar, balk I say! My majestic creature need not such punny things as articles.

Now Equestrian, that is something worth stealing... Race you to the patent office!

theLuckyDragon wrote:Hmm... I think the Asexual part would work better on the Rakshasa (or whatever it's spelled).

Hell HORSE - NightMARE! Notice something? The Rakshasa is more in the transexual category! It could atleast be the other way around, man->woman (as in wo-man, man that wo's).

That's not fair. You live closer to it! And you can't deny it sounds better with that A in front, regardless of what it stands for  :).

Well, "horse" doesn't refer to a specific sex. It's just the general term. But it's still dubious...

On a more serious note, here's what that "mare" is all about actally:
Such nightmares were widely considered to be the work of demons, which were thought to sit on the chests of sleepers. In Old English, the being in question was called a mare or mære (from a proto-Germanic *marōn, related to Old High German and Old Norse mara), whence comes the mare part in nightmare.
from the wikipedia

An interesting thing I found is also this:
Translations for Nightmare: Italian: Incubo

MARA... now that was an annoying novel.

O yeah and the original was Hell Stallion... And even so Horse is the male form, the fact that it also is the common name for the species has more to do with who ruled who in te past.

Incubus, incubo, its all Latin anyway. I'm not sure but the Nightmare as a horse comes from the Mare in it. Life is funny that way

Hey i'm not the one who came up with the whole charger thing... and i was talking more about the fact that Horse is the name of the male.

Well we already know how Raja looks, the Rani will probably just have more stuff on the chest area...

Seeing how the NDA is lifted for the open beta maybe some of the people with Gamespy subscriptions can tell us some of the name changes that took place during the closed beta.

Anyone up for it?

New info on creatures:
http://www.heroesofmightandmagic.com/he ... ntro.shtml

We now have Blade Jugglers. Apparently they escaped from a Circus and joined the Sylvan faction. Also the Dungeon just started to train Matrons to run their new brothels. We also have Deep Dragons as the unupgraded Black Dragon. And could someone please tell Nival/Ubi that Footman sound much better than Militiaman?

EDIT: And what the bloody heck is a Mane?
