Two Rangers in the Sylvan campaign start with Nature's Luck and a Necromancers in the Dungeon campaign starts with Howl of Terror but he doesn't have Banshee Howl.

Just got it in the Inferno Campaign! Woohoo!
Far too many people speak their minds without first verifying the quality of their source material.

It seems to me, looking at the skillwheel (a godsend, many thanks to whoever did it, possibly Aurelain), that you need to have Defence, Attack, Logistics and Luck to have the ultimate. Findan has Attack already, so why can't he get it?
Because you need frenzy ability and he starts with archery.
doesnt findan also have tactics? i thought that prevents it too...
you were right.
Findan begins with 'Tactics', whereas he needs for the Offence Skill the three following abilities : Battle Frenzy, Nature's Wrath and Flaming Arrows.
So, Findan cannot get Absolute Luck. :ill: :(

All heroes should have been fine-tuned out by Nival so all heroes could get the ultimate, but then again conflicts between the alredy pre-set skills and background story should be taken into reconsideration which I doubt would be too hard. Either that or fine tune the skill requrements for getting the ultimate, to find the red line for all heroes starting skills, for they who cant get it, they should be tuned out so they also could get it. Also the tuning shouldnt come out at hand so that it would be too simple to get the ultimate.

The Haven ultimate weak, but not useless. When two armies clash and both sides are left with melee units, the retaliation strikes will grind down human opponants and win a losing battle. The Dungeon ability, on the other hand, licks balls.

As to campaigns: Zehir needs the ultimate to beat the last stage.

Usually you can customize a character better than going after the ultimate. :)

That's right. I've enjoyed Agrael with enlightment, sorcery, destructive and light magic (resurrection!) much more than going after the ultimate. I know you can actually get it because of the pictures people post in the "picture of the day" section of CH. Otherwise I would think of ultimate as a myth! :hoo:
