Peasant Evolution
In my mind, there is no way 1's peasent should lose this poll. It is the epitome of a peasent. 2's has a sickle, while can be used as a farming tool, is not usually the first weapon we come up with when thinking about peasents. 3's peasents look hideous, and 4 and 5 look like they should be on weightwatchers.

Damn commies. Sickles are way more common then all other usable-as-weapons farming implements.St0rmB0lt wrote: 2's has a sickle, while can be used as a farming tool, is not usually the first weapon we come up with when thinking about peasents.
The sickle rules. The kama is my fav weapon in NWN.

There's a reason why the hammer and sickle wasn't the hammer and pitchfork.Avonu wrote:H2 have sickle, it's not right weapon for peasants - well if they have also hammer..
Sickle = agriculture; Hammer = industry/metalwork;
The pitchfork isn't the most common tool of a peasant, the sickle is.

True, but they perform the same function.DaemianLucifer wrote: Scythe is more common than the sickle,because of the longer handle.

You know combines aren't common everywhere, that's why we're using present tense. And they wouldn't be of much use in mountain areas, which is where i made most of my observations about peasants and their tools.Gaidal Cain wrote:Why, they're were the ones that was talking in present tense.
Now would somebody vote some more H2 please. H4 doesn't deserve #1.
