Lizardfolk - D&D. Aztec Lizardfolk - Eberron (Dragonshard RTS).Omega_Destroyer wrote: So I like Aztec Lizardfolk.
And as Warcraft is way more famous then RoN, Coatl is safer...
But hey, Chitauri is pretty nice, and also pretty obscure, unless you're into conspiracies and Ultimates comics. And there's Sheti, which is unused, or the D&D Yuan-Ti.
Anything else but Naga. What's next? Blood Elves?

We couold have naga mages, priests,or whatever. Why do we have to have only human mages? Please,no humans wiht nagas! No more humans, elves or dragons AT ALL!Add a wyvern, add even a T-Rex,but no more dragons!!And heres an example for two nagas:cornellian wrote:And by the way, no more than one naga please, what are you going to call the second one, 'two armed Naga', or 'slightly wimpier looking Naga'? I'm sure they can find many creatures in mythology that has something to do with snakes, or they can use Might and Magic series... I remember Dragonflies being pesky but dangerous creatures in M&M VII, they can easily be tier 1 or 2 creatures, Gorgons can be level 7 (in Greek mythology Gorgons are extremely powerful, with one being the bodyguard of Zeus), and a human caster unit with a name like "Snake handler", like the Indian fakirs, can be a quite cool surprise...
Samurai(or naga brute,or just brute):Level 4(5) creature,fast,no retal,good HP and defense,excelent offense.
Naga(or naga matrirach,priestess,whatever):Level 6(7) creature,good initiative,casts both curses and buffs,no retal,no melee penalty,but ranged penalty.

None of the other factions have race names in the creature names, so i doubt a Naga faction will.DaemianLucifer wrote: Naga(or naga matrirach, priestess, whatever):Level 6(7) creature, good initiative, casts both curses and buffs,no retal,no melee penalty, but ranged penalty.

Nagas, as sneaks, may happily survive in a desert environment.
Naga could come back as part of the barbarian family. The name coatl is quite appropriate and it could be THE creature of that race. Level 7, nagas should be sort of queens. No dragons please.
Flying serpents, medusas, orcs, a lower level behemoth and Nagas on the top!
(Just dreaming)

Based on the fact that in DMoMM a katana is called a Naga Silksword it looks like they'll be based on Japan.MrSteamTank wrote: As for the cultural style I'd prefer to see an aztec pyramid-type style but I wouldn't really be too picky as long as it worked.
Oh, and Saurians is also a good alternative name.
