Nvida 91.31 driver problem help please.

Greetings all. I am currently running a 6800GT. I saw recently that a new (non beta) nvida driver was released so I installed it. The problem came when I ran heroes v. Everything started up fine, loaded a saved game....when I started doing things (mainly town activities) after a minute or two the screen locked up, then turned itself off and sound started looping a few seconds worth of audio. I reinstalled everything possibly relevant but to now avail. I was some what worried I had stuffed the card as I recently had installed a new cooller. Anyway I reinstalled the old drivers and heroes worked perfectly again. i emailed Nvida as soon as it happened but have yet to recieve a responce.

So has anyone had a similar problem? If so, any trouble shooting ideas?
