Bought the game yesterday (deluxe edition with DVD and Heroes 2 included)

Had problems running the game (dll problem) but reinstalling the directx 9.c from the cd reapired it. The game runs fine :)

I had the very same problem. It seems that my DirectX 9.0c wasn't "c" enough for some reason.
I'm on Steam and Xbox Live.

Yeah, the DirectX team are really dumb when it comes to that. There's like 8-9 versions of 9.0c, because for some reason they stopped changing the letter after "c".

Here in Canada, Future Shop is selling it for $50 CDN until Sunday. According to their website two of the stores in Calgary have copies--don't know if they haven't arrived or already sold out elsewhere. I was gratified that I hit an ad for it as soon as I went to their computer games page.

Picked up a copy this morning here in the United States. :)

I like the game very much, similar to H II etc... a worthy addition.

My only complaint is that it feels slow. Perhaps that is my unfamiliarity with the game. Oh well I'm off to play.

VERY TRUE.

There's MORE THEN ONE version of DX9.0c floating around out there, and one DX9.0c is NOT the same as another.

Weird, but I've experienced this problem myself in the past.
