Perhaps... But keep in mind that Dark Elves and Dark Dwarves were already present in M&M8 and the concept comes originally from Norse mythology. I just used the names Drow and Duergar because I didn't want to name them all "dark elf" or "dark dwarf". The story explains how they got in this town.
