An ancient advert on Jawa Motocycles. As a kid I wanted one, never got it though.
The price for base model was 1000Kč (In 1987), which could be converted in today prices to 40$
Nowaday they are being assembled in India and the price for similar type start at 100 000Kč (4000$)
And they can envy the quality to these oldies..

Is your dream still relevant or not? It's just that if the dream is still there, then it seems to me that you could try to make it come true. After all, there are not so many really positive things in life to deny yourself such a thing as buying a completely budgetary bike.Pol wrote:https://youtu.be/HiHyeOw5kjk

No, it's not, not for this old jawa, which you could only get from the museum.

What if you decided to rob a museum and steal your childhood dream?
Re: Randomness - vol. IV
I ordered a cool Samsung monitor. The graphics of the games look much cooooooooooler on it than on the old monitor. I am very pleased with this purchase, because for a reasonable price I received a high-quality modern monitor, which, I hope, will work for 7 years.

Which one? VA matrix is certainly a bit old but, yes it will stay with us as a cheap solution for some longer time.

Don't worry if things are going badly today. They will be much worse tomorrow.

Diagonal 24 inches, CRG5, 144Hz fullHD. I understand that there are even cooler displays, but the parameters of this one are enough for me for the tasks that are performed on it.

TORCHLIGHT III - It’s been centuries since the events of Torchlight II, and the Ember Empire is in decline. In Torchlight III, Novastraia is..
King's Bounty II preparing its siege of the magical world of Nostria. The new "Unite Them or Fall" Trailer gives insights into a dark conspiracy
Nova - New, new country (usually also short lived)
Nostra - Our, our country (as well from latin)
Both are very unimaginative names. Which would be given to land not having anything unique to describe them. Are we so low in gaming nowadays?
@KayBur
Lately I was looking to Huawei AD80, which is close to frameless lcd. What discouraged me is its backlight, many ppl noted that is not perfectly even. Gamut is very nice though.

It’s unpleasant. LCD technology has existed for many years, but still there are still some shortcomings. Here, of course, Samsung with its super-amoleds took the lead, but the cost of their products is higher.

Yeah, only me is being stoned as admin. I also like Beholder or Titan, still thinking about adding a new ranks. There are new games after all or there will be soon TB=To Be. To put it shortly: Kings Bounty, Kings Bounty 2 (TB), Creature Quest, HotA, EoC, FST (TB), MoM (TB), SoC (TB).
Plethora games to lurk in, ..in following years.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tolou Keur (Senegal) - Rounded gardens, better way to recover land from the Sand. Much better than just randomly seeding trees and hope.
Were there Windows 96? Yes, no? In any case, you can try them here in your browser :p
(Aka Windows Nashville - they should exist but never did. Same like Windows 9. Damn you Microsoft >: )
Czech helps in Armenia. To save nature and set a standards for its protection in national parks. As war is over, you can enjoy some beautiful views here.

Great Swords - for what they were good.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZhEkF9FV6AU
There are many questions, from medieval times. This vid started to ponder over real using of great sword. And I must agree, even if there were small regions of Great Swords, they were part of Pikemen and served specially to cut down pikes of enemy team. In such unfortunate event, when two pikemen units clashed. Which was very impractical but common in some times.

The Baatara Gorge Waterfall, Tannourine, Lebanon. Also known as the Cave Of Three Bridges, it is indeed an impressive natural wonder. The waterfall plunges 255 m (837 ft) down the Three Bridge Chasm – a limestone formation, which is a result of millions of years of erosion, which persists to this day. The falls is created by melting ice that trickles down Mount Lebanon.
The photo and pre-text is from:

This is one of nature wonders. If you collect these places, this one deserves to be seen by your own eyes.
WIKI description is just a bit to sketchy but, well, at least it does exist.

Yemen - Well of Hell
Tales say, that this is the place from where come Genies and Demons. First video shows it from outside, the second from inside as Oman's speleogolists dived in. No need to say, that as everything, it's having its specific stench. Both videos are breath taking.

Rotating house. For his always unhappy woman Vojin Kusic build this wooden rotating house. Inspired by his compatriots Nicola Tesla and Mihajlo Pupin he brought this "non invetion", as he says, to life.
https://www.reuters.com/lifestyle/oddly ... 021-10-09/
PS The house can rotate at several speeds, to quote Mr. Kusic:
PSS With that, he saved rest of his life from still making new and new windows as his wifey wanted, when "cancelling" the old ones. And also got from hospital, for dream to come true.

"The house can make a full circle for 24 hours when it's at the slowest speed, while at the fastest spinning it can make a full circle in 22 seconds," Kusic said.

Toad Stone alias Buffonit - is an ancient mytical stone, which you can spot on jewellery at wiki or on Reliquary of St. Maurus.
Yes, it's that blue fuzzy stone. But it's not from the old Toad skin but from an ancient fish tooth.

How Ancient Indian Alchemists soldified mercury?
There's how, from India by PraveenMohan. And it the end he will create a mercury lingam from it.
Lingam is basically a Power Stone, in India they were using for its 'mysterious' healing powers. There are many lingham altairs in Indian temples. It's similar like yin and yang symbol, for Indians it's lingham and yoni.
And now to the reply.
Yeasily, they didn't need any Alchemist's Lab for it!
BTW so, know you also know who's Shakthi?
