Sadly I do think it's dead. The author can be contacted on acidcave.net (Polish website) and I messaged them about 10 months ago and they said the project has been "set aside" and they're working on other stuff. People forget stuff when they're not practicing them and he might forget how to do certain things, which will make him unmotivated to work again. I've experienced this with my own "project" (in quotes because it's nothing original), port of Rev4 mod into Merge. I can't start doing it again, it's too hard for me. Though, in this case, I'd love to be proven wrong.
