Geoffrey Bayldon died. Perhaps you remember him like a Catweazle. One of my favourite serial for kids.

But yeah, sad with Rickman, he sure was a good and diverse actor.
I was just wondering if by 'Lemmy' you meant Leonard Cohen. Such a beautiful, poetic, soul. :rip:

Here's a couple of of my favorite songs of his:

Both songs, for me, are so very pertinent to our times.

PS: Leonard Cohen died on November 7, 2016 … one day before the fateful election in the United States. Maybe it is a blessing that Mr. Cohen never had to witness the horror-show which is unfolding in my country.

Many sad losses already this year; now Sir Roger Moore as well. A different but enjoyable 007; and the Saint.

Nice to see you pop in now and then HP.

Hello jeff, It's been a while, too long. Started thinking about 'The Round Table' … still the best forum around, of any genre or interest. Hope all is well with you. :)

By Lemmy I meant Lemmy of Motörhead.

Batman just died.

Imdb.com: Adam West, TV’s ‘Batman,’ Dies at 88

I used to watch that show as a kid and I thought it was kind of exciting. Now I feel the Tim Burton reboots into a much darker universe are preferrable, but as a nice introduction for very young kids, the original show was quite nice.

Stephen Hawking logged off today. A great loss for Science, but let's hope that now he's free to go whenever he wishes to and see what he wanted to see.

Ah yes, that's said. The last two years are a real let down. He was a great brain, and pretty witty. ;)

Ennio Morricone has died - he's one of those people whose name you might not have noticed, but since he's made music for literally hundreds of films, you are sure to have heard his work.

Sean Connery dies, age 90.

Sad to hear of it, although it's no surprise, considering his age. One of my favourite actors.

Oh! 90?!

Now that I think of it, it's been a while since I last seen him. So many movies I liked starring him. Hopefully, now he'll be starring somewhere else.

The best Bond, a great addition to the Indiana Jones family; just a marvelous actor who was missed when he left acting. RIP and thanks for the great movies.
