No, I've fixed bugs in timers code. The experience well in Kriegspire now works exactly as it was implemented by NWC, not as the bug made it work. As always, you can disable the fix by adding FixTimers=0 to INI.

wow, thank you o: i handicap myself till just about the end of the game (the oracle quests) and then farm experience and gold from paradise valley, hermits isle and dragonsand just so i can dump all the gold i get into experience. x3c i do something similar in mm7.

Possible bug? In the Temple of Tsanta, after you unlock the doors that lead to the main chamber with the altar -- If you go down the stairs past the altar and to your right, you'll come across a bed. Clicking on the pillow of the bed (I even tried Telekinesis on it) is supposedly interactable but I'm unable to figure out what clicking it is supposed to do? Was it supposed to give you an item of some sort?

Nice find! It's supposed to give a +6 spear, but the variable got used for the doors into the main area. Since there's no way to get there without opening the doors, there's no way to get it.

Tomb of VARN: I came across a "Picture" that's interactable with but nothing happens. It's located...in a long hallway. Was this supposed to give an item?

What picture? Type
XYZ(Party)
in the console for coordinates.

I know Ctrl+F1 is the console command as I've used it for MM7 but it isn't working for MM6. Do I have to download MMExtension in order to bring up the console?

Also, the "Picture" texture I found? I thought it was the only one until I came across more "Picture" textures near the entrance of the Flame Door. I could interact with them but nothing seemed to happen so I'm starting to think that was supposed to be the case.

[+] Save/load dialogs now react to Enter key.

Your latest patch is crashing when I try to enchant something from time to time. When you 'enchant item' the paperdoll area seems messed up as well (Armor and stuff is showing)

New in version 2.2:

[+] StretchWidth and StretchHeight parameters specify the factors by which the game area gets stretched to reduce black bars on the sides. StretchWidthFull and StretchHeightFull parameters are used only if it makes the game occupy the whole screen.

I installed the game. Then installed Greyface patch 2.3.1. The default options for these parameters = 1. When I run the game, there are wide black bars on each side of the game window. When these parameters are set=1, is this the stretch ratio of 1.0 or does this simply mean the option is being used? If these are the ratio's, then how do I set them to stretch properly for my resolution (1920x1080)?

Set StretchWidth to about 1.33. Of course, the resulting image, as the name implies, will be stretched (distorted), but if that's what you prefer.

Hello! Thanks so much for all the awesome work, Grayface...

Was wondering if you have:
#1) Full list of hotkeys/keybinds for your patch + the game?
#2) A list of the variable names for MM#.ini and MM#LANG.ini?
#2) How do I get MMEditor to edit chests? Can't get the buttons to show up; Tried all the hotkeys in the MMEditor readme, but none worked.

Thanks again for helping us be able to play these awesome M&M games!

It's scattered across Readme. Most of these options are hidden, because a need to change them is unlikely. The more important ones are in mm#.ini. Note that mm#.ini overrides mm#lang.ini.

Is there a way to see your main Dropbox folder for the most recent on everything, so I can stay up-to-date without having to disturb you?

Or is Dropbox mainly just links to individual files?

You can subscribe to https://grayface.github.io/atom.xml for all new releases. These aren't officially released yet, though. I'll make an MMExt+Editor release in the near future.

Yes. FixChestsByReorder isn't a replacement for FixChests, I thought it would work better on its own, but it will only be good enough in the next version.

Hi everyone ! I am new in the forum and in first i just want thanks to GrayFace for his wonderful patches and MMextention :)

So i have a little problem with the music loop, it doesn't work with my game.

- I have a CD in french version for MM7
- i install patch 1.1
- i install patch 2.3.1 (other localisation)
- i install MMextention (it works and i am happy to can change skills tables thanks !!)
- i create a folder "music" with mp3 musics (2.mp3...) When i have this folder, i have NO music at all
- In my .ini folder i have PlayMP3=1 / MusicLoopsCount=0 / NoCD=1

I test with NoCD=1 and without but it is the same, i have NO music at all

But if I don't have the music folder, and if i have the CD i have the music one time, but no loop

I have exactly the same problem with MM8

[+] Chests are populated with compact non-random stacking if more items fit this way. This can be disabled by adding FixChestsByCompacting=0 line to INI.
[+] Items are stacked vertically when you place them into chests. This can be disabled by adding PlaceChestItemsVertically=0 line to INI.
[+] Sprites dimensions are tweaked based on vertical view angle. This makes them behave more realistically, especially when looking up at big monsters. Can be disabled by adding SpriteAngleCompensation=0 line to INI.
[+] If NoIntro=1 the intro is shown when you click the New Game button in MM6 or start a new game in MM8. In MM7 this was already the case. Add PostponeIntro=0 to INI to disable the intro entirely. In MM7 you can also set PostponeIntro=2 to have the first intro shown when you click the New Game button.
[+] Now in software rendering mode explosions and missiles are ignored during targeting. Before, party wasn't able to target monsters when whole screen is covered with explosions. You can disable this fix by adding ClickThroughEffects=0 line to the INI.
[+] Low level stuff you shouldn't need to use: DisableHooks option lets you disable hooks effecting certain addresses. It's a comma-separated list of hex addresses. Avoid the old way of disabling hooks by index, because hooks indexes change from version to version.
[+] Technical: Map entrance dialog can now be called from NPC topic anywhere.
[-] Sprite animations were played incorrectly - first frame was longer, last frame was shorter. This fix can be disabled by adding FixSFT=0 to INI.
[-] My bug: keyboard control of dialogs was breaking evt.Question command in houses (used for Escaton riddles in MM8).
