Masters of Sighisoara - a whole new continent!
Update 2013-09-16 0500 AM Swedish Time
Today I have updates some graphics on MoS3-Map 2, it is in a probably 0.85-0.9 graphical state, while balancing, determining how many creatures etc are not that developed. I have also lifted MoS3-Map 3 to a version of 0.35, Timed Events are starting to pop up, events, cities, locations of certain cities etc are being pulled out.
Also, I have after hours and hours (Ok, so far actually only like 2-2½ hours) managed to get back to a original Sighisoara map, free of lines of nations, names of nations etc. I should probably have a original of that somewhere, which if I find, all work is for nothing haha. This is so that we as creators more easily can draw lines on maps after how the continent is changing.

Update, Monday 23rd of September 2013
The Sighisoara Team's leading duo had a long but a most satisfying web meeting last night shortly after 1am Finnish time. (GMT +2 hours)
We, HoP and Yurian, both enjoyed the non-scheduled free-spirited meeting on Skype and discussed whatever topics came into mind ranging from MoS II's difficult and frustrating Alfa testing sessions, the planning and development progress of a campaign following MoS II and lastly, our common interest in music in all its forms.
MoS II Version 1.0 Alfa was withdrawn from the CH map testing service due to people showing minimum interest in the upcoming campaign. So sad, so sad. That's too bad.
Care to comment? Contact us now and we'll get back to you asap.

Don't worry if things are going badly today. They will be much worse tomorrow.
I have a feeling that the lack of testers is due partly to the low traffic we have these days, but also that most people (I think) just want to play, not be involved in a drawn-out process of developing a product. When the map is finished, then they'll become interested, download and play it.
In War: Resolution, In Defeat: Defiance, In Victory: Magnanimity, In Peace: Goodwill.
Just sent Yurian a text message, hoping to get his OK on it as well! Speaking of teasing, on our Sighisoara meeting last night, I also sent Yurian the new maps, he claims that they are looking promising. However, it would be nice with some audience feedback. Right now we are hoping for a late 2013 early 2014 release. Map 2 is in Yurians hands now, and Map 3 is as we speak being updated once more by yours truly.
I have started reading some in hope to broaden my writing skills and develop a better sense of details to get a more vivid and developed experience for the players. Wow, MoS3 is feeling good, irl is going good, man, all is good!
Map 2, currently in version 0.75
A new meeting will be held later this week, and a promise has been made from both of us to bring updated maps!

Yet another update has dawned! This time, a bit bigger then the others. Today I received our custom made music for the campaign! I will give you some samples of it later probably, I need to go to bed now straight away, but the sound is GREAT! Look out for a new youtube video in a near future

After some quiet time, it is time once more, to update you, our fans.
I received some texts from Yurian, it seems like he is aiming to get MoS2 out before christmas! Would be wonderful!
I have made some minor updates on our wiki.

And some updates have been made to MoS3. I just finished school work. I have time off until January 7th. So I hope to get you some nice updates soon as well, and hopefully, we will soon hear from Yurian!

Friday Update on the 20th of December 2013
Greetings friends
Quick note about updates. Me and Max have worked hard to further improve the quality of our MoS wikia. Each and every page there is has now seen a number of both bigger and smaller updates (made by yours truly) after HoP's previous post in this thread right here less than 24 hours ago.
We hope that you, dear fellow Heroes fans, dig the modest wikia we have put together in support of our Masters of Sighisoara project. Please head over to the site at http://h3mos.wikia.com/ and tell us what you think.
Wbr,
Yurian

Don't worry if things are going badly today. They will be much worse tomorrow.
As you are releasing the maps individually, I also suggest setting up MoS 1 as a single download folder now that MoS 2 is being completed. Putting all the maps and readmes in one .ZIP folder can ease download processing a bit.

MoS2's release is near!
Greetings All
It's been four years since the early drafts of the Second Sighisoara Campaign were first made. We have been through quite a ride with ups and downs and all kinds of twists hitting the Project's way. Now that Christmas is just around the corner so we can finally let you know that so is the release of the campaign Masters of Sighisoara II: the Undead of Xerphef.
In perfect harmony with the spirit of Christmas, I decided to let the people following our project to enjoy the rare opportunity of reading first hand information, a summary of the Team's leading duo discussing the Beta Version and its upgrading into the final release version in the near future.
It's a long read but we hope you value the sneak preview it gives into the
nearly completed Campaign II and its current status as of 23/12/2013.
With best regards,
Yurian Stonebow

Yurian Stonebow - HeroOfPunk Max discuss the release of the MoS II campaign
in their midnight Team Sighisoara web meetings December 19th - 21st 2013
Max (HeroOfPunk) on map 1 right click text:
"Great story text my friend! It has great details and pulled me in directly!
It seems to tell the tale of a government that is in crisis!
Very well detailed, very fine text. And Macro seems to be of the great kind.
A warrior of great skill and tactics!"
Max on map 1 prologue text: "Ahh yes, great piece of story to start the campaign!
It gives the player the feeling of total chaos in the nation!
It also makes the player want to come in and clean up in the nation. Good job!
The king being in house arrest is the dot over the i!"
Max on map 1 epilogue text: "Once again, great details.
Great details and geographical details especially!
It is very well summed up in such a small text!
See nothing to change there."
Max on map 1 prologue movie file, theme and music:
"Perfect indeed. Looks like a land of divided borders.
Listening now. Yes, it seems fitting, not a joyful tune haha!"
Max on map 1 epilogue movie file, theme and music:
"Someone plotting and hiding from something.."
Yurian: "Do you have an alternative video file in mind?"
Max: "No I believe it is a keeper."
Yurian: " I just realized that in my laziness I'd thought it fitting to reuse the
same music file (as in prologue) here for athmospheric reasons."
Do you agree with my choice?"
Max: "Yes sure, I trust your choice is not based only on laziness."
Max on map 2 right click text: "Another good one!
We all know heroes fans are no quitters, but neither are their enemies."
Max on map 2 prologue text: "Nice! Another suprise for the player and
that fits very well into the storyline!"
Max on map 2 prologue movie file, theme and music: "It fits well!"
Yurian: "Alrighty then. Based on your comments, we'll stick with the chosen
movie and mp3 music file for the prologue of map 2."
Max on map 2 epilogue text: "Great! Just great! Another great view on how
the tactics has been layed out and the current status of the nation.
A good overall summary of what has happened pretty much!"
Yurian: "Just tell me if the picture with the archers and the epilogue text act together.
Is it okay? Good? Decent?"
Max: "It does! It is good, it shows the strength of the nation in these dark times."
Max on map 2 epilogue movie file: "The music track needs to be changed."
Max on map 3 right click text: "It's nice, it gives you a good Xerphef point of view
of it all. Suddenly you are against the nation you just defended!
It gives an evil feeling. The feeling of someone loyal to his King.
Someone who is out on a mission of great importance."
Max on map 3 prologue text: "So, this text was good as well.
Once again I get the feeling that Xerphef sees themselves kind of like old Germany,
above the rest of the world and looking for world dominance!"
Max on map 3 prologue movie file, theme and music:
"Campaign Music 11 fits very well! It's dark, yet a little happy tuned. Don't know
why I get that feel, but I feel the same thing looking at the picture.
I see green trees and a fine forest, but I also see evil men plotting!"
Max on map 3 epilogue text: "Yeah, as I said, it's good, you manage to squeeze
a lot of good details into a shorter text! The loyalty towards the
King is still there. And the classic "By the power of Zelas" is present!"
Max on map 3 epilogue movie file, theme and music: "It's gloomy and kind of
sad/without hope, just like the picture. Indeed I'd say that."
Max on map 4 right click text: "Short, good, solid! The only words needed."
Max on map 4 prologue text: "Damn, it sounds challenging! It gives me some kind
of "it's time for a desperate fight" feeling!"
Max on map 4 prologue movie file, theme and music: "DING, DONG, the final
hour has arrived for the player. It's now or never! That's the feeling I get."
Max on map 4 epilogue text: "Yes, that's good. A good summary of what has
happened in the scenario, and what you seem to want to get out from it.
That promotion I am speaking of of course!"
Max on 4 movie file, theme and music: "Yes, once more kind of dark but still not
too gloomy. Fits good into this dark campaign but lucky character!"
Max on map 5 right click text: "Yeah, it's good! Gets you pumped up and ready
for the final task! It has good details and readies the player for what lies ahead.
It looks like you are in for the final fight since it is "all in" so to speak!"
Max on map 5 prologue text and its video file: "Yeah, this is a good one! Good
description byt I'm not sure if the titans should be there though? I mean...
The titans are not involved in the campaign at all. However I can't tell which
other video would be better. The text however is good!
You get a good grip of what happens and the details are well written."
Max on the theme and music: "Let's set sail and finish this epic tale.
That's what it tells me."
Max on the epilogue text: "The rest of it is really good. After a long journey,
it all turns out well. The bandits that disobeyed the crown will receive their
punishment. And you yourself enjoy a fine promotion. Perhaps, we shall meet
our honourable heroes once more in a single scenario at some time?
To let the player truly enjoy the promotion? Well done! And a great ending on
what seems to be a great campaign! You get Atreus' name in there too which I like.
And of course, the best part is that we shall once again return!"
Yurian: "So you dig the end results and my way of putting it into written form?"
Max : "Of course! It all looks great, I can see it in front of me!
And I like the tease at the end too haha."
Max on epilogue movie file, theme and music: "Interesting choice!! And I really think
that it does work! And it is a tune filled with a great feeling for any
Heroes player having forged an emotional bond with the game!"

Good to hear, Yurian. I'm sure there are many H3 fans out there who are eager to play a new H3 project to its completion.

Update on the Christmas Eve 2013
Last night I stayed up all night to ensure Campaign II being released (or sent to Kalah) on Christmas Day, and achieved pretty good results towards the goal. I have now prepared an improved Beta Version which only requires some final touches before it's Good to Go. Some minor story checking is all that is needed for me to give it Yurian's Official Seal of Approval. Thank you for your patience.

The big day has finally arrived! Today I received a message from my friend from Finland (Suomi), Yurian. He told me that finally, FOUR years of wait is over!
Today, on December 25th, 2013, Masters of Sighisoara II - The Undead of Xerphef is finally released!
The campaign contains 5 maps that should give the players a great challenge.
"The Kingdom of Rojaice is in great turmoil.
The southern provinces are rebelling. Lich King Servilius of Xerphef
threatens the nation from Northwest. Greedy merchant Guilds have
usurped the royal power in their quest for limitless commerce.
It is time for a Hero to ride forward to unite the people."
The campaign consists of 1 XL map, 3 L maps and one medium map.
We have angles that we can't see in MoS1 or any scenarios where you get the chance to play different factions and see both perspectives of the war.
Both I, Yurian and the rest of the Sighisoara team hope that you will enjoy this campaign.
The team will return with a new campaign sometime during the year 2014. (The work has already begun, and you can read about it on our wikia, http://www.h3mos.wikia.com

Congratulations, Max and Yurian,
for this wonderful news of releasing the Masters of Sighisoara II campaign as a Christmas present for all those, who like to play it and learn more of this "new" fictive world, you created some years before.
I've playtested all the scenarios in an early stage of creating with plenty of joy, and I liked them all very much. But, sorry to say, that in the last stadium I couldn't engage myself in further testing because of other interests and engagements.
So I wish you all the best for many downloads, and for many new creative ideas in your hard work for the Sighisoara III project.
And many thanks for your kind words to my person in the wiki! It makes me happy, and I feel proud and embarasssed at the same time. and
for that!!
Good luck and happy Xmas time!

Don't forget that without you the Campaign series would not be the same. And we really mean it. Both HoP and me, Yurian, have always valued you being there and offering your assistance. It's not words wasted for flattering if we state out the obvious. Haben Sie vielen Dank!

Please give us some feedback
Friends,
It's been a month since the release of Masters of Sighisoara II. The campaign has been downloaded a respectful 350 times so far, which to us indicates a success. Now, what we'd like to know is your opinion about the campaign itself. How many points would you award the work in a scale of 1-10? What was the gameplay like? Were the scenarios too long or perhaps too difficult? How did you view the story, was it entertaining, solid...?
Please remember that we appreciate all feedback we get. Yeah, even if it's just in the vein of "Saw it, Played it, Liked it".
With solidarity,
Yurian Stonebow
