Heres my idea for dwarves:
Slinger -> master slinger(pebble rain)
Axe wielder -> berzerker(berzerked,whirlwind attack)
?
Dwarven warrior -> dwarven elite(regeneration)
Aprentice(beneficial spellcaster) -> runemaster(ranged,spellcaster,earthquake)
?
Mountain giant(ranged,scater shot,50%cold resistance,stun) -> frost giant(ranged,scater shot,cold immunity,bash,freeze)
I just need two more fillers.Im not going to suggest some stupidities though.
Pebble rain is similar to archers special.
Berzerked means that when berzerker hits its first target,you loose control over him and every turn after that he goes to attack.
Whirlwind attack strikes all enemies around(like war dancer).
Aprentience should have stone skin and one other beneficial spell.
Runemasters ranged attack is magical,so it can be ressisted with MR,and he has some beneficial spells.
Earthquake drains all of runemasters mana.It does high damage to all the walls on the field,and it has a chance of stunning all of nonmechanical walkers(including yours).
Giants throw rocks,thats why their shoots scater damaging all of the adjacent units.They can also target walls.
Bash means that the frost giant deals portion of damage to all the targets adjacent to his initial target,and he has a chance of stunning all of them.

You could also use better names.
Maybe instead of Slinger you can go with a Halfling (you can say they're related to the Dwarves).
And Hill Giant -> Mountain Giant makes more sense namewise.
D. Warrior -> D. Champion
And maybe Loremaster instead of Rune Master!
And the missing 2 should be creatures, not Dwarves.

Thats why you guys are here for anywayThunderTitan wrote:You could also use better names.
I thought about that,but since there should be a dominant race,I went with a dwarven slinger instead of halflings.ThunderTitan wrote: Maybe instead of Slinger you can go with a Halfling (you can say they're related to the Dwarves).
Yes,those sound nice.ThunderTitan wrote: And Hill Giant -> Mountain Giant makes more sense namewise.

Thats what I was thinking.But I couldnt come up with good creatures,so I left it blank.ThunderTitan wrote: And the missing 2 should be creatures, not Dwarves.
As for the speciallty of the hero,he could have mining.A chance to find precious resources,ore or gold every day.Jis ultimate could double the defense of his creatures.

Wolf -> Dire Wolf is good for lvl3...
And I'd rather have the Halfling at lvl1, three are enought creatures for a race/town. And if ur gonna put it in the expansion thread ur gonna need a Dragon for them to worship.
And they could use a flyer. Maybe a Roc or something. Or Frostbird/Frostwing. And that way they can worship the Water Dragon.

I belive Sylvan already has Earth. And the Roc (arabic) is a completly different creature from the Thunderbird (native american) anyway. Of course Roc fits more in steppe terrain then on a mountain. If anyone can come up with something better, please do.

Maybe this will help: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:L ... _creatures
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:D ... _creatures
Also, Roc were also called Rukh. Isn't that what they once called the Rakshasa?
Hmm... Rocs are supposed to be white, so they might fit as a Frostbird.

so this is what the gorgon in heroes 3 really is, this creatures is also in castlevania games:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catoblepas
why don't they just use that name? as gorgon is supposed to be a medusa (technically it's the other way round)

Gorgon sound better. And it's also the name they used in D&D. But they should just call them Mighty Moos.

does anyone like the idea of a bug-town maybe called the swarm or the hive
they could have fire ants, spiders, serpent flies, scorpions, scarabs, giant worms and their lv 7 could be the mantise
they would be very weak but their special would be overwhelming numbers
