1) There are several places there you'll find any barrels or other items, which gives you any skill or stats improvements. (Stone City, Erathia, ...,). Also, some places in "dungeons/castles" contain any other goods for you (in torchs, etc.). I only remember that you'll obtain Repair and Bodybuildind expert skills anywhere.
2) You'll find location of "Coding Wizard" in the middle of the game or later. Hint - you first must speak with woman in Evenmorn Tavern and then (after June 15 approx) speak with woman in Summer House (Erathia)
3) (Not sure) Blaster skill you'll obtain in Pit, after some quest here (yes, you'll can safe travel in Pit after any message)
4) Don't know. Possible you can only equip it.
5) I think that all three quest statuettes must be placed on pedestals in Bracada, Avlee and Tatalia.

Sorry of my English and hope you understand my topic...

EDIT: Nevermind, found it in the hut near the goblins in NW EI.

I can't seem to find the Temple of the Moon Tile on Emerald Island.
Has it been moved? Bugged?

Is there any way to figure out which classes can GM what skills? I haven't been able to find documentation anywhere on the specifics for the new classes.

Just do a google search on Might & Magic 7. You will find all sorts of help pages. Several have a list of the skills and who can be propoted to which level.

I'm sorry, perhaps I didn't make myself clear, or I'm an idiot.

I'm curious about the NEW classes in Maestro / BDJ, not the original set. I know that Crusader can GM plate and sword, for instance, but not sure about Armsmaster.

IIRC, all old classes can get expert bow, but the new Mage can't.

Thus far, I haven't seen a single webpage that has details for Maestro / BDJ mods. The only sites that have info on them seem to be discussion forusm.

You remember incorrectly, or something about MM6. In MM7 a Monk or a Sorcerer cannot be Bow Expert.

Yea, it was my mistake.
Also just realized that you can see which classes can learn what by right clicking the skill in the character page.
Yellow skills are available after class upgrade, red skills are not possible.

Upon further consideration, I'm very confused about the new classes. It seems like the skills displayed don't correspond with what the description suggests.

For instance, the "Alchemist" (Druid remake) can no longer GM any magic skills? Is this correct?
Also, it says in the description that Barbarians can GM Axe, but according to the skill in the menu, Barbarians show it as red in the menu.
Also, I've heard that Sorcerers can use staffs that are missile weapons - is this true?

Maybe we can get Vladimir-Maestro to way in on how classes / skills are different?

Anyone know how many bows of carnage there are in the early game?
I've discovered 3: 2 in Castle Harmondale, one on the Harmondale lake shore. I've heard people mention 4 - any clues?

Where is the option for the Barbarian or Alchemist?

I have not found any of these. On my game (with BDJ's upgrades) I only have the same old classes.

for new classes you need "maestro mod" by me, not "rev4mod" by bdj.

More quests?

I can't seem to get it to load. It keeps telling me I am not connected to the internet server (and I am).

What do I need to do?

I got it loaded. THanks for the emai.

What I had to do was to run the EXE as administrator.

Unfortunately, I don't know where the new classes routine is.

I am really not that inept at computers when you talk about office production, but games I do need a little help.

Test of friendship

Unread postby topdog » 09 May 2012, 03:47

Is there any secret to the test of friendship?
I either seem to somehow turn the others hostile, or someone dies.
I can't seem to find any way to keep one of those things from happening.
If I could heal them, or (better yet) just move them out of harm's way, it would be a snap. But, they want to wade in even when they're near death.
What's the key to making this work? I've tried this 20+ times, and still no luck.

Don't charge like you do on most fights. A string of well placed dragon breath casts should clean out the room while not hitting your friends. There is one dragon with something like 5k hp. He will live, but you can clean up the others. Because of the huge hitbox of dragons, aiming for the middle of the pack very rarely hits any of the friends.

Oh and you can heal them. Cast heal and then instead of targeting a party member, target the ally. It just isn't worth your time unless you can heal for around 300.

Yes, only one of dragons have something you need. If you kill hin (he has an original name, if I'm not mistake), carefully hire your friends and then (it's not needs to complete this test) you may kill others dragons. So, tactic is simple.
1. Scout there is dragon you want to kill. By several attempts (despite of died friends) you'll get info about his location. Reload "avtosave" any times you need.
2. In Invisibility try walk to other side of cavern, near your goal.
3. In real time by blasters only kill several dragons near dragon with item you need and then kill him. (You must learn blaster skill and advance it by any quest - in Pit I think).
4. Take Item from dragons body and hire your friends (in turn-based mode, without killing any other dragons as possible). Begin from most damaged friends.
5. If all six(?) friends was not died and you hired them, your task is completed, if no - reload and try again. Cavern exit will teleport you to Seleste. (do not use Town portal!)
