Bestiary
Angels mean different things to different cultures. Christians may have coined the word angel, but they have been arround in one form or another for a long long time. Spirit guides, Animal Spirits, Guardian Spirits, though often not called exactly such. When most think of an angel they picture beautiful people with feathery wings. Some also wrongly assume that humans become angels, which though there are some who fit this term the majority were never human.
According to 'biblical' history god created the angels just as he did humans, but actually before he created humans. They were sort of his 'employees' as it were. They have a hiearchy, and have certain tasks and duties, to perform. The first angels were no more human then god. Sure they could, for sake of human's minds, assume human shape, but what they really appeared like is a mystery (god once became a burning bush and angels had all of his powers but to a much lesser degree). So to define true angels would be difficult at best. Oh and they are not 'pure good' (some are in fact neutral, and the rebel angels are considered 'evil') as many believe. They are able to take any shape, form, or have no form/shape at all. Now it is believed that humans will become as angels when the Rapture takes place (to those who follow christianity that is), but if this is the case, currently there are no humans who would be angels (as it has not yet taken place).

Angely? I plan on losing few weeks on just theme. They are probably the beings that deserve more then 1 page.
BTW, I am writing some nice thingies about goblins right now and hope that I'll send the update before the new year (I know that I always give promises like this but I am now REALLY writing it).
