The Namtaru boss - big, bad, and I'm not sure I like it. Great visual rendering, though.

This faction starts to feel less like Heroes' necro and more like Warcraft's scourge. Were the designers confused as to which game are they designing for? And, seriously, what is the bloody matter with all the spikes? It looks kitsch and overused as a practice.

Look pretty cool... I wonder what kind of attack it will have? Triple with poison, perhaps?
It's likely to be a hell of a lot more wicked than the lame Bone/Spectral Dragons ever were.
Necro always had a weak 7th tier... perhaps this will make up for 1st tier Necro no longer having a ranged attack, if that's indeed the case.

This is labeled as "boss". Logic dictates it's a boss and not a Necro unit.

Yes, they've said the game has bosses as an addition.
Perhaps to guard specific quest areas. Looks like W3 to me...

At least most of them are still undead... Lloth wannabe boss/champion unit excluded.

That one looks ridiculous! Not very HoMM-like either!
Also, and I might just be oblivious here, but it sure seems like they stole the whole bioluminescence thing from Bioshock 2...
And when they run out of ideas in the world of creature-making, they always seem to just add more armor og throw in a couple of extra arms.
