In HoMM3, when I start a mission with one town, I know exactly what to do, on the first week I build a Citadel, Castle and as many creature dwellings as I can, even more so if I can get the 7th level dwelling, at the start of the second week I build a marketplace, sell the uncommon ressources that are not required for creature dwellings, hire the best creatures I can and go on a rampage while concentrating my ressources on the city hall/capitol and the creatures dwellings I ignored on the first week.
My problem is, whenever I start a mission with more than one town, I am lost, I have no idea how to proceed. Should I build creature dwellings in both town? Should I build creature dwellings in one town and city hall/capitol in the other? Should I concentrate on a single town and not build too much in the second because it may hinder the construction of the first town?
Then there's questions like what to do on a rich map? On a poor map? With towns that are quick to build? That are slow to build? What I should concentrate on when both towns starts with the bare minimum, without fort or town hall? What to do when I start with 3 towns? Etc.
Anyone can tell me what's the general building strategies on maps where you start with more than one town in HoMM3?
Starting with more than one town in HoMM3
Simple, one question for money, the other for units and money. (Can depend on scenario, could be that in one you will be building some level of units in the other something to round up the combinatoin. )

Yup, use your second town for more income... no point in making creatures you can't afford anyway yet. And of course if there's a creature you want more of from the start (lets say like Wood/Grand Elves) just build that one building in your second town by the end of the first week too.
