If your Heroes 3 works fine under Vista without any problems, then I suppose it's not worth getting.

Nopes, it's the same game. Doesn't make any sense buying it twice...

I reinstalled Heroes III on Vista and it crashes. I bought the GOG version (complete, including 2 expansions) for $9 and it works perfectly.

Settings for comptability usually fixes the problem too, ya know! I know people with Vista who've never had a problem getting their HoMM3 Complete to work. And they have the 3DO version! ;)
