SICK THING!
SICK THING!
I have just got the knowledge of this website: http://en.akinator.com
You think of a character and answer questions and then the Genie can tell you who you are thinking of! So first I though of Bruce Dickinson in Maiden and it guessed right!
Then I thought I made it more challenging and did Gelu! AND GOD DAMN THAT BASTARD DID IT! THat is SICK! Try it out! It knows almost everything!! :O

That is sick. I thought of Manuel Calavera (from the game Grim Fandango) and he guessed it right. Awesome!
He was wrong the second time, when I thought of Danny Howells and he guessed John Digweed (close though), but the third time he was right again when I thought of Charlie Harper.
Not really Heroes I-IV related though, now is it?

Hahahahaaa, I thought of Kano and he guessed Goro. Not good enough, punk
Then I gave him another go, he had to go into Zangief, then some other guy I've never heard of, and only managed Kano after nearly 50 questions, some of them repeating. We are not impressed
Tried it before too, it's not hard to trick it.

Gave it a hard one: Ken Stott from the Rebus TV series; it appears the genie got really confused that the character was British, but not English, and plays in American films from time to time. It guessed Antonio Banderas, Anthony Hopkins, Kiefer Sutherland and then it gave up. It didn't even have his name in its database.
In War: Resolution, In Defeat: Defiance, In Victory: Magnanimity, In Peace: Goodwill.

I've played it twice, and twice he could'nt get the answer!
1. Looking for Felix Hernandez. Pitcher for the Seattle Mariners. Nominated for a Cy Young award this year for best pitcher in the American League.
2. Looking for Don Wakamatsu. Manager for the Seattle Mariners.
Both times I made it look like an idiot.

1) I had Solmyr, but he guessed some guy from Morrowind.
2) I had Tasslehoff Burrfoot, and he got it right!
3) I had Dr. Brackman from Supreme Commander, and he guessed Jim Raynor from Starcraft.
4) I had Chip from This Perfect Day, who wasn't even in the database.
A common exercise for teaching binary search trees is the "animal game," where the computer asks a predefined series of questions to try to guess the animal you're thinking of. If it fails to get it, you give it your animal and a new question, and the tree of questions grows. This seems to be similar, except it limits its ability by not demanding a new question.

Pretty cool. I was thinking of Modo from Bikermice from Mars and he guessed it with just a few questions
Edit: haha, he could never guess Ben Reilly/the Scarlet Spider. First he guessed Spiderman (no surprise there), then Venom, then Boogerman, then Flash, then it gave up.
Edit 2: some of his questions are interesting. For instance, when you say yes to if it's from a video game his next question is if it's from Warcraft.
Edit 3: frick! First he guessed Yuri this time, so I thought he was never going to get it, but out of nowhere it was like "is your character.... Sandro?" This shit is wack, yo.
Edit 4: this shouldn't surprise anyone, but he guessed himself easy

You'd think Darkmoor was a ghost town, but instead there's plenty of life among the dead.

I tried this game with full Norton protections enabled.
It was so slow, it was unplayable. Norton kept saying "popups blocked, popups blocked", over and over, and the green downloads bar moved forward at about a millimeter per minute.
Since I just got my last computer fried by an amazingly savvy virus (posed as Microsoft, kept trying to get me to buy virus protection from "Microsoft", copied itself into multiple places, write-protected itself, got past and disabled McAfee "protection" software, interrupted all work every 30 seconds, etc. etc.), I know now how to recognize the signs of online crime.
NEVER use a website that keeps using popups over and over. NEVER try to access porn or even anything vaguely provocative online. If you do, you will, sooner or later, get your computer's operating system and all its files destroyed by malicious software, so-called "protection" software notwithstanding. Don't do it, don't do it, don't do it!
