Clash of Heroes Announced

I'm not going to involve myself in the debate about who's a real fan and whether manga artwork is true to the series. I'll say only two things:

1) While I despise the Ashan rubbish (Demons, Demons, Demons...) as much as anyone, perhaps more than most, and would love the actual, original, non-cliched Might and Magic universe back, I'm not going to equate story and setting to the game itself;

2) I'm throwing no stones at the game until I've played it. It looks like something more than a stupid cash-in. The graphics we have aren't crappy for the DS, just look at games like FF Revenant Wings which stole half of its sprites from the GBA.

Even if this game is lame, it still will generate popularity for the HOMM name. Poetic or not, anything similar to HOMM that 'sells' gives us hope.

A lot of people enjoyed Dark Messiah... It is unfortunate the XBox version was such a waste.
