Wizard Realms - New Spell - New Layout

It's been a good weekend for working on the game.

Thanks to Wimfrits and Kristo for feedback and everyone else who has stopped by!

1. I've added a new spell to the game - Movement. You can now give your piece more movement for an extra attack or to reach a bonus that was out of reach.

2. The layout and ownership of plants - aztecs - and generators has changed. Now two of the generators fight on the side of the plants.

3. Generators are tougher. They actually have more range, movement, attack and defense than your starting Mage Knights.

4. Several bug fixes - Including leveling out plants who pick up bonuses. I saw a group of plants take out a generator, pick up the bonus, and turn into one Bad Asp plant! That isn't going to happen any more. :|

5. Your Aztecs now have names so it's easier to identify who is leveling up or who you are doing a mana boost on.

I tried playing your game, but couldn't push myself through. The problem is that it plays so slowly -- it takes several seconds for combat to resolve, for example. I request you add an option to skip the dice roll scenes to speed up the game.

Or maybe it's a bad idea to request that -- I'm already addicted to enough games. :P

One thing you can do is give multiple orders to your pieces.

Example - click on one piece - click on a piece to attack. While it's moving and attacking select your next piece - click on a piece for it to attack.

You can also cast spells while other things are happening. Example - your attacking with your piece - it's not doing so well - click on heal and click on your piece. It will heal while it's attacking.

I'll also look into the attack timing and see about speeding it.

I've made some changes to the overall pace of the game. The main game loop used to be occurring every .3 seconds. I've now changed that to .22 seconds.

That still keeps the animation reasonable and the attacks are happening quicker.

I also took a look at the AI. Movements and attacks that are happening outside of your visible map are now happening much quicker.

Give me some feedback - does the new pace feel right????
