You're welcome to come live in the US. The housing market over here is crashing. You can get a really good bargain on a recently foreclosed home now.

The one thing we have over here is FOOD, Glorious FOOD!!! If you're poor, you can go the Food Bank for FREE FOOD. You can ask the government for FOOD STAMPS - which, BTW, are no longer embarrassing coupons so everyone in the store KNOWS you're poor and using Food Stamps. Nope, now you get a re-loadable Debit card that you just swipe through the machine like everyone else.

No one in the US goes hungry - unless you're a highly paid Super Model or Actress... then you just choose to starve yourself to get more money.

Of course they don't... if there's a lack of food they just cut open a fat one and that alone lasts a month for 100 people... it's all part of McD's plan to end world hunger... by killing everyone with fat poisoning.

You can ask the government for FOOD STAMPS - which, BTW, are no longer embarrassing coupons so everyone in the store KNOWS you're poor and using Food Stamps.
Over here food stamps = government employee. (or at least it was 2-3 years back, i think someone mentioned getting them too while working for a private firm...)

I need some night food. What to eat? I've got chicken, but that's too much. I've got finnbiff (reindeer casserole), but that would require me to cook rice, which takes 15-20 minutes. I've got some lefse... hmm...

After spending the majority of two days baking cookies... I put a couple of slow cooking cakes in the oven and poured myself a glass of "Jelly Donuts".

sounds like a well earned drink Letty, which are always the very best kind!

I'm not normally a huge fan of cookies, I have been much more into making Nachos lately ....
