Necropolis Hero Abilities
Herald of Death immediately transforming joined neutral stacks into undead of the same level... This coupled with Diplomacy, and Disguise and Reckon will make for a pretty potent combination.
Seems too powerful to me.

Remember that Herald of Death is a subskill of leadership. Since that skill is going to be pretty much worthless to a Necromancer, it needs abilities that are stronger than the average. You're also forced to take recruitment, which currently is a worthless skill for a campaigning hero...

That may be, but if neutral creatures are as willing to join your army as in HIII, the skill will definitely be worth it. You could even have two heroes: one with the most practical skills for a necromancer, and one with Herald of Death and diplomacy (+ other required skills) to get those neutrals.
I could be wrong, of course, but it just seems like too powerful a skill. Especially when in addition the necromancers have necromancy.

Someone said that Herald of Death was only in the Campaign mode can someone confirm this?
