Strange, it was pretty reasonable for me. Also battles played faster.
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

Time to taste the Tribes

Hey morthi, please make the other players able to pick faction. As it is only the first player can pick stronghold and the game crashes with loading. Something that does not happen with other players...

Overall I'm pleased with the demo, some things have finally been addressed, but damnit, "Sev." is still in.

They still haven't fixed Sev.?!

Why would they abbreviate such a short word to begin with?

Next thing you know...we'll be seeing Pa. (short for Pack) or Thr. (Throng)...:loll:

Glad to hear that things are being addressed though...I may still regain faith in the Plothole Behemoth that is Ubival.

Heres to hoping! ;)

Nitpicking FTW! ;)

Seriously though...enough little things can add up...kind of like all of the typos the Fortress had when HoF launched. :S

And again I ask, WHY would you abbreviate Several in the first place?

Why not? It makes things shorter; saves space. Kinda like "FTW."

I'm surprised you are not swimming in royalties from being RTO champion. You should do some promotional commercials :-D

Sev. is just a testimonial they can't or don't want to fix simple things.

That and the, for example, still present:

*Click Dismiss*

"Spare your hero?"

-Yes

*Hero gone*

Makes sense.

Yep :D But i have seen many small corrections/additions in the demo to consider sev much. Now if I see more typos and bugs in the actual game I'll be a little disappointed.

Several is too long a word; it doesn't fit into the space under the small creature portraits (if the script would be smaller still you couldn't read anything anymore).

You use the wait button when you don't want to lose a full turn on that creature and you prefer a tactical advantage.

i think the game itself will be fun to play.creatures and upgrades are really cool i love cyclops, but can't figure out how to make them shoot insted of a melee atack.orc commander is incredible with his speciall ability.you can split orc commanders in several groups and your cyclops will be kicking non stop. i think this expansion will be better than hammers of fate.i don't care what kind of music or hero trail is used all i need is strong ai.i think it still makes dumb moves sometimes.

Have a stack of goblins right next to them and hover your mouse over a troop that is not within the cyclops' (melee) reach.
i think this expansion will be better than hammers of fate.
Without a doubt.

I've finished Sky's Fury, and I have to say, I was duly impressed. I like the split upgrades, and the atmosphere for the Orcs and the viciousness of the creatures was well done. I would agree with the already stated problem regarding the music drowning out the voice as well. Also, I wonder if the Cyclops aren't overpowered. (having kicked some Arch Angel butt with a smaller stack ;)) Those are minor for me, the demo has convinced me to purchase ToE once it's released.

fun stuff, finished both (agrael mission got me panicked for a second) and have to say i like the alternate upgrades. the succubi especially, since now you have something that works against other demons. orcs are okay, didn't like them too much (unless they sack other castles in multiplayer too). trapper and marauder combination seemed quite potent, especially if you split your trappers. would make clearing mines really easy in the beginning...
