What "exactly" does this do to the town? I think it gives an extra $5000, but does it promote creature growth or give extra bonuses? Thanks for the help!

+ 50% creature growth plus other bonuses, depending on the faction.

If you mouse-over (or r-click) the special building in a town build screen (be certain to click on the "town plan" button to show buildings that you cannot build if you do not already have a tear), the description tells you what is does.

I believe this is also in the manuals (the fan manuals, not the one that came with the game!)

+50% creature growth
+5000 Gold per day
+a faction-specific bonus:
Haven - +2 Luck to all your heroes
Sylvan - +2 Luck to all your heroes
Academy - +10 Knowledge for defending heroes
Dungeon - +10 Spellpower for defending heroes
Inferno - +10 Spellpower for defending heroes
Necropolis - +50% Necromancy, +150 Dark Energy points
Fortress - +6 Defense and +6 Spellpower for defending heroes


What I hate is that the game ends when you get to build the grail (in multiplayer). Why it does not go on?
Hide, listen, watch, learn… And when the time is right, strike from the shadow.
