FARm OUT New Scenario Maps In HMM5 Upgrade

Unread postby Hurry Sundown » 23 Jan 2006, 16:34

If Nival and Ubisoft were smart they would farm out the new scenario maps [ maybe even a coalitioal campaign multi-map adventure ] to private joes and joesephines out there in internet land world, U NO the dubya dubya dubya for the second installment of HMM5.

Also it would be cool for them to give kudos to the original inventor of the Heroes of Might and Magic series. Why, they should send him the first finished copy of HMM5. That would be very cool.-Thanks, Steve Cossey-sVc corp

You mean someting like H4 WoW mapmaking contest? To do that well, the first installment has to come with a very good map editor, and there must be enough people participating in that contest. For WoW they announced like 20 best fan made maps are going to be included, but they had troubles in getting even 20 total entries not to talk about selecting the best entries only. :devious:

I'm not familiar with the HMM4 wow thingee. Aint been on the net since learly 2000s. Use college and library puters only. What I'm talking abou is befor the make the add on maps in HMM5's next edition they all mapmakers to submit maps to anyone willing to start and run a website for HMM5 maps so that anyone can download these maps and see if there are any good maps in it by mapmakers. Then the best make could be added to the add on HMM5. Steve

Yeah, that's been done before, so it's quite possible the community may be allowed to contribute in that way later as well *hoping*.

Still, even if we're not, we have access to web datebases that we can store user made maps on. Just hoping we'll have a map editor that kicks some butt.

Did you notice that blue folders and LOCKED folders are pretty much the same. 'Cept blue stays on top and locked slowly fades away. -Trig Logic aka Hurry Sundown
