Nobody has responded to help me out.



Well I have followed the instructions. I could not find a "Windows Compatability Toolkit" only a "Microsoft Compatability Toolkit" and I do not know if these two things are the same.



Also, I do not see where I apply this program. I followed the instructions for MM7 and the game still does not run. Please help me.

No problem! Just delete from directory of the game (mm8) DDRAW.DLL DINPUT.DLL VERSION.DLL VINMM.DLL comdlg32.dll drvmgt.dll. And use it! )) But this stuff works for cutted internet version only!

If you are playing MM6 or 7 with Windows XP … you need to download & install Mok's Patch for MM6 and/or 7 for Windows XP:

NEED HELP !!!!! I have instaled M&M 8 on windowsXP but i can't play it .It gives me the error : "Cannot locate the Might And Magic VIII CD-ROM" - "please insert the MM8 cd and pres OK to restart application". Ever seen this befor???? Nothing worked from what you sad here..........

Have you tried putting the cd in and pressing ok to start or is that a bit hard to do without the cd?

The cd is in ofcourse. By the way can i play the game without the cd?? A patched mm8.exe there is?

I got it. I found a patch and now works fine ,but only with disabled accelerated 3d sound .

I followed the instructions above, but when i try to play MM7, it doesnt do anything. i got Mok's 1.2 patch, but installing version 1.3 doesn't work (/data/games.lod: unknown version). help please!

i just bought might and magic VII but i cant get it 2 install it says something like error transfering data anyone no how 2 get around this i really want to play but i have an instalation problem!!! i no what to do once i get it installed some please help me!!!
