MM8 Wasp Nest

Any tips on how to properly jump in the wasp nest? I've tried dozens of times from all sorts of angles and no luck. This is using the jump spell which according to manual doesn't improve in height with more points.

I was able to jump up there somehow but also I spent literally hours trying. I don’t remember what was the trick but try setting Jump as quickspell.

I can't really remember, but I'll throw some ideas your way.

Quickspell is good; the only fact I do remember from this. Try different movement speeds; walking or running. Try and not move at all while ascending, then move forward around the peak of the jump.

One of the most frustating ''bugs'' I ever have on a game..Sometimes I can, sometimes not. Try saving with enough mana for 8-12 jump casts and load if you use more than 9 cast unless you have good cuantity of potions.
one question, could be modded the height of the jump spell?

I think that in 3D software you have better chances to jump next floor of hive but I can't tell you if it is 100% true.

If my memory serves me, then Jump as quickspell and running before jumping was key... and of course quite some practice with the timing.

As others said, save first and then start practicing. There really is no hidden trick, just timing.

You can go to the exit point and look up at the exit then hit the space bar and it will allow you to enter just like a door. No need to jump. Then just work the hive in reverse. Good luck!

Well thanks for all the tips even though I had tried most of them already (including starting at the 'exit' which is really just another entrance and still requires you to jump to get to the next level). Knowing that all of you got through it with persistence without any special trick gave me the determination to stick with it.

I even watched the guy who recorded his playthrough on youtube and he seemed baffled too. But he definitely got through it faster than I did.
