My Motion Video's not playing

Anyone have any ideas why?

My MOM7 video was working fine until now. I recently upgrade to an ATI 3870x2 but I think it was working after I installed that. Then I f'ed up an XP service pack 3 installation and had to reformat my hard drive.

Since then, My MOM 7 motion video does not appear.. I also installed MOM 8 and there's no opening motion video.

I was near the end of MOM 7 and it seemed like I was missing video once I killed Xenofex and returned to Celeste, and once again when I met someone within Castle Lambert, but there was no video... anyone have ideas on how to fix this?

Well kinda got it working, but would still appreciate it if anyone knows how to really get it to work.

I can play and get video cutscenes if I select software renderer AND run it in windowed mode only, compatibility mode and sound options did not seem to make a difference. Hardware rendering does not play the cutscenes.

I seemingly tried every compatibility mode, configuration mode, and desktop screen combination and that's the only one that plays and has cutscenes. This is on XP with Mok's patch.
