Here’s one: why does it say I joined the 6th when I’m posting on the 5th?

Everyone that had their account on CH expanded here had got to get a date, since the old database didn't register that. However, why the 6th was choosen instead of the 5th is beyond me

Question: Is there a link to the main CH page anywhere ? Maybe it's there but I can't find it

Clicking on the header will take you back to CH... soon.

It's based on the server's time zone, and what was the 5th for me turned out to be the 6th for the server.

Funny. I never did register. And how did my account appear over here?

Is there no longer an 'active topics' function or am I blind?

The forum shares the account database with the main site. You can login on CH with your forum account, and vice versa.

What exactly is the "active topics" function? Topics with new posts are highlighted.

I didn't test it a lot but it looks like the "posts since last visit" can replace it well enough if you don't log out and in too much.

The old active topics function was a view over all different sub-forums. It displayed the 50 topics with recent activity ordered by last added post.
So instead of browsing through the different sub-forums individually, you could just look at the active topics list to see what's been added.

That would substitute a part of it, yes. I'd still rather have an active topics list though. Oh well...

Got another one.
Why do some of us have 'Round Table Knight' and other old members too have 'Novice'. And how would the new ranking system be?

A few of the members that was deemed worthy got that title. I don't know exactly what AS used as criteria, so he'll have to answer that himself.

It seems that all of the nicks that got transfered got that title.

I never liked knights anyway. Necromancer fodder is all they are.
(Although, so are peasants, LOL.)

Additional people will become knights in the future. We just selected a couple of people who had been active in the old forums recently to give them an incentive to switch quickly. The reaction has been quite positive so far.
