An upcoming MM-inspired indie game

For all games not only from Ubisoft stable, which are better less than more different from previous series.
Like alike Era of Chaos (MMHEOC), Elemental Guardians (MMEG). Creature Quest (CQ), King's Bounty or Palm Heroes also sorts here. PostMM era. And all a new Songs of Conquest. Not limited to mobile games.

An upcoming MM-inspired indie game

Unread postby Alex13Uslavtsev » Yesterday, 12:02

Hi,

We're a small indie team from Ukraine working on Titans of the Past (https://store.steampowered.com/app/3098 ... _the_Past/). I would like to share the Steam page with you guys and ask what you think.

Also, here's the video where I'm talking about the game:

The game is heavily inspired by MM6-8, but is session-based. The reason is we're absolutely sure we can't handle an open world and narrative/plot at this moment. Instead, we're focusing on gameplay mechanics.

We're currently in early Alpha, aiming to release the game on Steam late Summer to early Autumn of 2025.

I would appreciate any constructive commentary.

Interesting, you are already playing with shadows and lights and keep the models simple, cut down to the polygons.

From what I have seen better tuned shadows, could be just enough to make it visually acceptable when you, as you said, focus on the gameplay and make it superb.

After all, games like NetHack, were also simple in the terms of graphical interface but strong in the gameplay. And were played by a millions.

PS Edited your YT link, to have preview in the forum direclty, just don't use url, leave the link as is. ;)
