ah these fanboys
Well, I always thaught that the atmosphere that a game creates is a very important part of it.
M&M has a very unique feel. The music, graphics, effects and presentation all make up this unique atmosphere and I always get an association to a post-medieval-ish world with a touch of a "magical world"
Overall: It immerses me so, that I get an urge to roleplay! That way I can immerse myself even more

I feel happy, because is simply the best cRPG serie so far!
I still remember myself playing the MnM 7 the first days was
out after reading a review at a pc magazine. I fell in love with
everything that this game has. The artwork, the story, the char
system, the atmosphere.
And I feel sad, because we do not see such games anymore.
Yes, you can find some good rpgs today also, but they cannot
reach the quality of MnM.
All my hopes are on the community's projects right now, I am
sure they will catch the MnM feeling

Hard to tell, it's been a while.
These days I went deep into gaming. There's plenty of very good games I haven't played before.

It's a nostalgia bomb for me. The first game I ever played was Tales of Yendor, which was very similar to Might and Magic (although I am not sure which one predated the other). In any case, Might and Magic 5 was the first MM game I ever played. Then 6, then 8, then 7, then I played 1 and 2 (never got around to 3 and 4). As far as RPGs go, this is probably one of the best. I like the fact that it's got some puzzle solving, interesting quests, and interesting magic/skill systems.
Malae naturae numquam doctore indigent.
I recently finished all Half-Life games except Hal-Life Decay. Didn't play GTA 4, The Witcher, Fable 1-2, Risen... If I dig into it I'll find many more, but the listed already would be enough for a few years for me.Variol wrote:I want names!!! please!!

Prepare for a good laugh, but for me the best ever game I played was a KOEI production, it was named "Uncharted Waters" (SEGA).
I think I played that on an emulator 2 months without eating or sleeping, just to discover Japan and its awesome boats or find some treasure along a hidden river. Unforgettable.

it's always a pleasure playing this game, i love it so much... might and magic 6 was the best game i have ever played in my life.. and i played since it was released or maybe 1 year later i don't remember... i was eight years old, and was a really fascinating experience, i liked exploring new maps, discover new monsters
i really envy the people who are playing might and magic 6 for the first time.

Am mostly like game begining in every MM serie, when team is weak and world is huge not explored, this give feeling of true adventure, and am totally inside. But later when its too overpowered am bored. Thats why i usualy play to half game progress and start again with other team. For example MM7 i played around twenty times but only twice reach ending point. Probably MM World of Xeen was best balanced because i finish it once and all.
Ofcourse beside feelings of adventure there is also game style, and best style was for sure in MM8 some dark gothic and funny, and then worst in 1-2 and 9 i just dont feel it.

yeah 6-8 i have played to death, long breaks and returning to it always refreshes me and i wonder how i ever get bored of it!
really love them games and im sure im going to be a fan boy for the rest of my life. It does depress me that it seems we will never see another made when i play it though. But the atmosphere to the game is amazing and i will never experience it in a game again when i first played it. It always nice to reminisce every now and then.
I promise if i become a multi-billionaire i will fund another M&M title
