It'll never be a huge commercial success. The airspace is already full. And when are people going to realize that a flying car is... a plane! Because if you have a flying car, why the heck would you drive it anywhere and not fly it all the time!? (paraphrasing James May there).

That's a good note - I thought I could just keep the RAM since I already have 16GB of it.

I figure that the only two alternatives (apart from doing nothing) are: 1) buying a whole new gaming computer (and connect the extra HDDs to it) or 2) buy a new motherboard with a CPU. That's what I did last time and I think the rest of the parts are pretty good; the GPU, RAM and drives all seem fin...

So I think my HDD may be broken. It happened during a Steam patch download that the PC suddenly rebooted, and the HDD that has Steam installed on it does no longer appear. It's weird, though: it's a WD Black 2TB SATA that I'm using for storage and gaming. It should last a lot longer than this. Could...

Just started playing PlayerUnknown's Battleground, it's pretty good, even though I get killed a lot. I also get some wins occasionally.

-13°C here today, it's been this cold for a couple of weeks now. The fjord is freezing over, but it isn't snowing anymore, so now we have a winter wonderland. Took my dog for an hour's walk in the nice weather.

Sean Connery dies, age 90.

Sad to hear of it, although it's no surprise, considering his age. One of my favourite actors.

I'm still in touch with him regularly, but as he doesn't play M&M/Heroes games anymore, I suppose he doesn't stop by very often. Nor do I for that matter.

Watched Star Trek: Discovery. It's OK, but a bit predictable.

Watched Ricky Gervais' After Life. It tugs at all the feels. Really good.

Ennio Morricone has died - he's one of those people whose name you might not have noticed, but since he's made music for literally hundreds of films, you are sure to have heard his work.
