Creature dwellings look good. Any ideas for special buildings, cost, resource requirements, hero skills, skill tree, ultimate... ***** <rant> Another racial town?! Wow, dscrimination must be a serious issue on Ashan. First, there's the battle of the sexes between the elves. So the female elves don'...

asian-themed race
while some of us are on the topic of possible new races for possible expansions, i'd like to put in a vote for an asian-themed race. I like the dwarven or orcish ideas definitely ,but i think it'd be a nice change from the traditional Tolkein-esque races. At the risk of totally coming off like a PC ...

phantom forces
I made a separate thread from this from the raise dead thread. Again I apologize if it's been talked about to death but I only look at the first page of thread topics and only read about half of them. I actually don't mind phantom forces too much -- i think the only thing that's overpowered about it...

raise dead
Is it universally accepted that raise dead is ridiculously overpowerful if you are the undead? Even when you aren't the undead, i find it ridi...

Interesting... Well I'm not sure I was *supposed* to do this, b/c this was before I realized that I was supposed to take the underground path, but I combined the armies and killed a hefty blue army BEFORE I went underground. THEN I split the armies and had hero and gf split up and rejoin together at...

very newb question from a IV-er
So I just caught wind of Heroes V and read the previews and everyone is like "Heroes V is like Heroes III because Heroes IV sucked." Can someone explain the basics of this assumption? I was introduced to the series through Heroes IV. Yeah the graphics sucked and the maps were cluttered, bu...
