I am not sure if this is a bug or am I missing something but Sorcerer promotion quest in MM7 is not working for me. I got all golem parts and according to wiki I should have a new hireling portrait (golem), which I should speak to, but the problem is that there is no hirelings screen for "MM8 ...

I think this is bug that in Tularean Forest, I can enter Clanker's Laboratory at the very beginning of the game, before taking the path, and this will result in an immediate crash.
