Thank you! For example, where is the data for spells stored in mm6?

MM6-7-8 internal data structure
Hey all, In either the normal game or with the GrayFace patch, where are game text and other things located in the directory? Is it all compressed in the LOD files? For example, when I do a search for "Cuisinart" in the game directory with Notepad++, nothing shows up, so I'm sure it's comp...

Re: Lowering the amount of time to switch to auto-fire
Oh ok! I hadn't considered that, thank you. Question then, why aren't the arrow keys having the same interrupt, for example? You start going forward or turning the moment you start to hold them down.

Lowering the amount of time to switch to auto-fire
In MM6-7-8, when you press A the character shoots an arrow immediately. If you keep it pressed, it'll wait for something like 1 second, and switch to some auto-fire mode that will keep firing as long as there's somebody available to fire (and if there isn't, will wait until there is). I've always fo...

WOW. YES. That's what I was talking about! Thank you!
I'm kinda bummed they don't have the messages from the 90's, though

Re: The Infinite Looting bug (MM6 & MM7)
That is VERY strange! So the game has a programmed 10% chance of not removing the corpse if the corpse dropped an item?
What do you all think might be the purpose behind this?
Also how are you able to see that the game rolls a d100 for this?
Thank you!

The Infinite Looting bug (MM6 & MM7)
Both MM6 and MM7 (GrayFace versions, not sure if the regular game has them) have this bug where sometimes when you loot a monster's corpse, it won't disappear, allowing you to loot it again. (When you loot it again, it generally disappears, but just like the original corpse, might not) I'd estimate ...

Got it, so these are impossible to do with MMExtension and I'd need to go way deeper. Thank you!
(BTW MM6 doesn't add bonus damage, but I think you're right and MM7 does)

Re: MMExtension v2.2 + MMEditor v2.1 Level Editor [June 4, 2019]
Hey all, here's a few things I'd like to be able to do in MMExtension for MM6 (and MM7). I definitely don't need anybody to do it for me, just need to know if it's possible before I jump into it (and maybe a link to a script if any of those have been done before). 1. Display true damage of bows and ...

Re: "Of Recovery" enchantment doesn't work
I think it's fair that the patch doesn't "fix" it because the explanation in spcitem.txt seems to point towards it just being about improving recovery after being hit. (Unless those descriptions were put there by GrayFace too?)

Re: "Of Recovery" enchantment doesn't work
Whoa. Ok, I'm sorry. It looks like "Of Recovery" means a different thing in MM7 than it does in MM6.
In MM6 it just improves your recovery time. In MM7, it improves the time for you to recover from being hit.

"Of Recovery" enchantment doesn't work
Does the "Of Recovery" enchantment not work in MM7?
The Elven Chainmail doesn't seem to affect recovery rate. Plus, I created an 'of recovery' ring in an editor, and it doesn't affect RR either.

Re: Melee weapon recovery time cap
Thanks to all of you, I was able to get the limit down! However, it looks like there's some sort of hard limit at 4 - even if I set the variable to 1, I can't get the recovery lower than 4 in the game no matter what.

Hey all, is there a way to lower the 30ms cap on melee recovery time?
