Thanks, the Overdune quest is now no longer an issue. As for the original problem, I removed two bulky files from the data folder (d3dbitmap.hwl and d3dsprites.hwl) as well as a folder called "EnglishT.lod Backup" that only contained one file (Monsters.txt). However the issue still persist...

About Overdune's quest, how do I hire him without having to dismiss a party member? My party started out on Enroth and they're all created by me (no hirelings), so when I dismiss any of them they disappear forever.

Ok I got it. I had touched the guild already and gotten the "Magic presence" message but I couldn't activate the dimension effect. After your suggestion, I touched the guild's signpost instead and now it works.

The sun cloak and moon cloak from evernmorn isle temples do the same bugs as the items I talked about in an earlier post (AKA disappear when equipped and give the texture not found icon). There is some issue with half the skill teacher houses in MM7. It seems that whenever I enter them some notepad file appears and overlaps the house background in a sort of buggy way and the cursor turns from the click icon to the windows text cursor.
