Is there such a tool like mm7 view that allows one to edit sprites?

Is there any programs or guides to mod them?

I was looking more into editing quest and areas in the game.

How does one edit Might and magic 8.. I know how to edit sprites and look at the maps but i don't understand how to actually edit the game.. Please help.
