It's not easy to choose, but one of my favourite creatures is genie from H1. In the beginning of the game, if you find the Genie's Lamp, conquering new terrains will become much easier. Genie's special ability of is also very useful...

To all H1 and H2 soundtrack fans: do you recognize that melody (first 7 seconds)? http://www.jsbach.net/midi/bwv988/988-v01.mid It's from J.S. Bach "The Goldberg Variations - BWV 988", but it also appears in some place in the game. And here's the question: do you remember in which game? H1...

H1 ogre looks like the true ogre should look ;) Ogres that use magic are too funny for me to like them... The true ogre should be wild beast and know nothing else but how to kill ;)

I voted for H2 but I also like music from H1. These melodies in baroque style are beautiful (I recognised some J.S. Bach music elements in them). H5 soundtrack is definitely the worst one.

I'll sure start making no new map until new patch is released. There's just too much risk to do it now, with 1.4 Editor.

I have similar problem... All began after the installation of patch 1.4. When I open my map in the editor, do no changes, then close the editor, size of the map is changed and some of the scripts stop working! Fortunately I always make a backup of my maps. There is something veeeery bad in the edito...

I think Snarl wanted to know if there is one big .zip file with all the CH maps in it... if I understood him clearly.

Unfortunately, there is no such a file.

I've got your e-mail. I unzipped the file and then zipped it again to .h5m. There were no problems to open it in the editor. However, I found out that the map must be loaded from the editor, not from the explorer . So firstly open the editor, then the map. Which version should be used, or does it ma...

If you want to buy Winds of War, then remember that if you owns Heroes IV version released by 3DO, then don't buy the version of WoW released by Ubisoft. Probably it will not work.
