Didn't realize the site (including the old CHU site handled by someone else) turned 25 this year.

I'm not familiar with that name, but many of the old sites have disappeared over the years. Perhaps you could salvage some of the content via the Wayback Machine, but you'll need a starting point.

Judging from the screenshots, the gameplay appears to be similar.

I spent countless hours in Civ 1 and 2 back in the days. I came back briefly to the series with 4, but realized I didn't have enough hours to sink into a game anymore. I'd be curious to see how the series has evolved since.

I don't have a gaming PC anymore (or a lot of time for games anyway), but if I did I think I would have more than enough games to keep me busy with the free Epic offerings alone.

My girlfriend said she found the Netflix show confusing with those time lapses, so I'm not sure I want to give it a try myself.
