Why do i start from level 1 int the final campaign(mixed)???

No matter which character I choose
I always start from level 1 and ther'e kicking my ass
Does anyone have an idea what to do??

There is a warning in the official forum's bug list that if you used a custom hero to finish a campaign, or changed the default hero's Might/Magic affinity half way, there is going to be (unexpected) troubles later.

Not sure whether patch 1.2 have fixed this problem.

A custom hero is not used - as a matter of fact, this is the case for ANY hero, none of which had their affinities changed.

Further information: this is in offline play, the game is fully patched and updated, and only in the last campaign.
