The idea behind this topic is to get a better sense of the factions that inhabit the world of Heroic. The environment that they live in has a profound effect on their beliefs and values, customs and traditions. The landscapes shared here will hopefully make them feel more tangible, and more relatable.

Barbarian faction
Desert gives what it wants, when it wants. Occasionally, it gives in abundance. Usually, it gives just enough. Sometimes, it gives nothing at all.
Sometimes desert gets angry...

Sylvan faction
Forest is literally bursting with life!
And yet, forest dwellers regularly witness death and decay. It marks an end, and a beginning, of the circle of life.
Light is a rare but welcome visitor in a forest…

Reptilian faction
A placeholder post for Reptilian landscapes...
Frost faction
The surface of the frost world is vast and desolate...
...sculpted by water, snow and ice whipped by furious winds...
The tunnels themselves lead to several levels of spectacular ice caves that spaciously accommodate their residents.
Surface light cannot reach the lowest tunnels and caves, so they produce their own.
Some caverns are situated on the frost sea. Their floor serves as a doorway to a world teeming with marine life.
(Sadly, I couldn't find any decent pictures to illustrate this with. It's the floor that's supposed to be teeming with marine life, not the walls or the ceiling.)
