The Art-thread

Unread postby Fenris » 22 Apr 2006, 10:41

There was a thread on the old Round Table were people showed their fanart. I thought it would be nice to have it back; so here it is. But a little broader this time. As in: not only fanart, but art in general. So, show your drawings/paintings/art etc etc here.

And before Kalah strangles me for making the increased-traffic-problem a thousand times worse I'll ask people to link to their pictures rather than posting them here. I'll throw in some sites were you can host pictures too; just in case: http://www.i18.photobucket.com/ and http://www.deviantart.com

To break the ice, here's a dragon I drew about a month ago: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/30638827/

This was next to your image, Orange Tortoise - it's looks very, very good. Whimsical.

You can post the pictures in the thread, no problem. Keep this in mind though (especially the size thing, please).

I draw comic books. :D

Here are some samples... These are several years old, though. I've been doing mostly underground stuff lately.

Wooooow, this is great :-D
I'll have to find something to post soon then. Though I am not nearly as talented as either Fenris or Vlad II.
I just thought it could be fun to show off our work :)

Thanks, Vel and Fenris... That comic is seven years old though. I've been drawing a lot since "Ghosts of the Past" ended; actually, it was one of those pages that helped me get my first professional gig. Recently I've been doing all kinds of stories, both cartoony and realistic:

P.S. Milla, please don't call me Vlaad II... I've always been Vlaad online, but I forgot my old password and changed my e-mail, so I had to make a new account. :D The number has no special meaning whatsoever. As for Vlad976, he's just an imposter - a distant cousin, 976th in line for the throne. :D

Great stuff Vlaad. Reminds me of stuff I looked at in the Heavy Metal magazine years back.
