What classes where Resurectra, Kastore and company? Near as I can tell,
Crag Hack is a Barbarian—of course.
Sir Caneghem is a Paladin—I think I saw that in a manual for one of the pre-MM6 games, though I'm not sure.
Kastore is a Warlock (Druid)—his counterpart/clone in H2 was a Warlock.
Maximus is a Knight—for the same reason as Kastore.
I would gather Resurectra is some type of spellcaster as she’s opposite Kastore, and Sir Caneghem and Maximus are opposite each other and they both seem to be might-based classes, but that isn’t really enough to draw a valid conclusion from.

I dunno what you are talking about, be more specific like telling wich MM you are talking aboutKareeah Indaga wrote:What classes where Resurectra, Kastore and company? Near as I can tell,

Thank you.
Maximus I can see as a Half-Orc, the rest…
I wonder if they were changed in MM7 because there weren’t Gnomes and Half-Orcs in MM7, or if the design team preferred them as two Humans and an Elf.
Also, I’ve never played the earliest MMs—were Tolberti and Robert the Wise hirelings, or were they just added in MM7 so the people who played 1-3 didn’t have to kill off their old party members?

IIRC they were added in MM7. I don't remeber hirelings (or NPCs) with these names in MM3 or in MM4-5.

EDIT:
and Resurectra from MM7 video (she is on top, near Magnus):

She doesn't look like Gnome.

I know, I was speculating on the reason for the change not whether or not there was one. But thank you, anyway.Avonu wrote:Check yourself:I wonder if they were changed in MM7 because there weren’t Gnomes and Half-Orcs in MM7, or if the design team preferred them as a Human and two Elves.

Probably because it was easier/cheaper to animated some Humans or Elves models with are also in some taverns animations (or it was MM8?) than create new ones only for two Gnomes and one Half-Orc.
There is also one more explanation - magic plus Ancient's technology - maybe Resurectra and Dark Shade were pissed off being not tall and handsome, so they decided to plastic surgery?

Kastore looks identical to all male elves seen in MM7 movies (except the bearded one)
Resurrectra looks identical to the other female in the very movie shown here.
Tolberti and Robert the Wise are weird in their way, not appearing in MM3 and being the only advisors you can actually fight. I made them quite a bit stronger in my MM7 monster patch, to make them deal heavy unblockable dark/light damage respectively. (While still being able to eradicate)
